Pumpkin Chilpotle Pesto Panini
with goat cheese & caramelized onions, garnished with Toasted Maple pecans on 9 grain bread
- 8 slices of 9-grain bread
- 3 tablespoons of butter, softened
- ½ container of Pumpkin Chilpotle Pesto
- 3 tablespoons of pecans toasted in maple syrup
- 3 tablespoons of caramelized onions
- 3 tablespoons of softened goat cheese
Preheat Panini maker. Generously spread Pumpkin Chilpotle Pesto on one side of each piece of bread.
Make sandwiches with goat cheese, caramelized onions, and maple pecans, Spread softened butter on outsides of
sandwiches and press, two at a time.
If you do not have a Panini maker you may substitute with a grill pan or skillet and press and hold sandwiches with
another heavy skillet.
